AFOLABI, NAOSS, UNILORIN PRESIDENT, AS HE CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY, ADMONISHES STUDENT LEADERS, CONGRATULATES SRJ.

The President of the National Association of Osun State Students, University of Ilorin chapter,  Afolabi Abdulmalik celebrated his birthday on 14th March, 2019, which coincide with the day Dr. Basiru Ajibola as he congratulates him on his receipt of his  certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission. (INEC).

He furthered by encouraging student leaders especially from the state of Osun in various campuses to keep up the good work of leadership in each institutions in order to efficiently and effectively represent the prestigious state of Osun.

He went ahead to state that we won't shy away from the fact that Osun State Students in various Institutions, especially, University of Ilorin, enjoys no assistance from the state government and ministries in terms of bursaries and aids  concerning programs organised, by students on  Campus, which are Always Spearheaded by Student Leaders.

He Boasted that he's sure without any fear of Contradiction that If they are granted aid by state government or its agencies, there'd be pronouncement and promotion of Osun State Students On and outside the campus Environs, and also that that art of Leadership from grassroot would be promoted, as he stated emphatically that the success of any Association, especially The National Association Of Osun State Students(NAOSS), is based on the credibility and worthiness of  organized programs, during such Administration.

Expressing his dissatisfaction, he gave examples of the past programs held on debt, with the expectation of reimbursing same with the token gotten from Dignitaries from the state, which Invited  guests also fail to fulfil promises, for example, According to him "Before I rose to become the president of the association, I was the General secretary, which we invited a commissioner from the state (Name Withheld), we were promised funds for

our Entrepreneurship program, which we didn't get till date, after several trials, still, to no avail".

He conclusively appeal to all National Association of Osun State Students, NAOSS leaders in various Campuses  not to rest on their oars, as the future is bright, despite that, it might get tiring at some point, but, the determination and Zeal to serve the state as undergraduates should remain Unshakable.
