AFOLABI ABDULMALIK'S OPTIMISM OF A REFORMED NIGERIA
Nigeria, a multi-ethnic country, blessed with both human and natural resources, who gained her independence on October 1st, 1960,is one of the assumed corrupt nations,but,i believe this assumption arouse due to poor and myopic leadership .
It is glaring that one of the problems this country encounters is poor leadership , but this issue set in about some years ago , because if we're to start from 1914 when the southern protectorate were amalgamated by sir.fredrick Lord Lugard,which was the major significance of his administration. Other administration's with their significances include ;
*Sir Hugh Clifford-Elective Principle in 1922
*Sir.Authur Richard -Regionalization in 1946
*Sir.John Macpherson-Quasu-federalism in 1951
*Sir.Oliver Lyttleton,who brought about TRUE. FEDERALISM in the nation.The question is what are the main significances of our leaders today?
Late.umar musa Yar'adua brought up his own 7-point agenda,in which his death limited his accomplishments, and his vice,Goodluck Ebele Jonathan jeopardized it all by ruining the nation with bribery and corruption, injustice, despotism , nepotism, favouritism, misappropriation of public funds, induscipline,appointment of unqualified personnels,to mention, but few.
Here comes our one time military Head of states,President. Muhammadu Buhari,who's now a democratic President,with his vice Prof.Yemi Osinbajo.
